Wow, wow, wow! Loving the new website!
I had logged in a few times this year to PowerSchool etc. but spent some time this morning really navigating around. I am so impressed! Not only is it fun with all the updated photos but I found everything I could possibly need to know. My son is in high school and not always that informative of what is happening—just silly things like spirit week and what is the theme for the day, when do you buy homecoming tickets etc. It was ALL there. The staff directory is awesome. In the past I had difficulty contacting a teacher that was not currently my child’s teacher. If I didn’t know their first name (which why would I?) I could not do a dial by name on the phone directory or send an email. Even this email. I didn’t know who was in charge of this website, so I looked around and bingo, there it was—I knew exactly who to contact!
Anyway, in general people tend to contact administration when they are upset about something. Thought I would send along some positive feedback! Have a great day!
Happy with school superintendent

As a follow up to Lyle Perry, Jr.’s comment last week, Superintendent VanDuyn’s letter in the post was outstanding! I am very excited and hopeful about the direction I see her taking our school district. It was also very encouraging to hear the school board members voice their support of Dr. VanDuyn and all she is accomplishing at this week’s school board meeting. As a parent with four children in the district I would also like to thank Dr. VanDuyn, the administrators, teachers, and support staff for the way the lock down situation was handled on Monday. I think you all did a great job, thank you for keeping our kids safe!
