Cedar Trails Elementary Summer School Super Readers!

Summer School 2018 hosted by Cedar Springs Public Schools in June at Red Hawk Elementary gave students many opportunities to learn reading and math while having fun.

One of the many opportunities available was Kids Read Now (KRN). The first 200 students who enrolled in Summer School were automatically registered for the Kids Read Now program. The program sent students 3 new books for them to keep. When they finished reading the books, they were given the opportunity to answer just a couple of questions about the books with their parents. Parents were then able to log into a Kids Read Now portal to show the books were read. After books were read, KRN would ship another free book to the student’s home.

If a student completed all 9 books available by August 31, 2018, they received a certificate and a stuffed moose. KRN shipped their prizes and certificates to Cedar Trails  Elementary where the students received their prize and certificates!

Congratulations on your success and hard work this summer.
