On behalf of the Cedar Springs Public School and the Athletic Department, I would like you to know that we appreciate the commitment from the athletes, coaches, parents and fans that make our athletic tradition strong and proud.

Athletics are an extension of the classroom.  It benefits the students by giving them the opportunity to test their physical, mental and emotional limits, to fail and recover, learn to be humble in victory, and to experience the challenge of competition.

Thank you for your assistance in keeping all of our events educational.  By exhibiting good sportsmanship, we can enhance the value of the lesson learned through competition.  Remember that winning is for a day; sportsmanship and ethics are for a lifetime.
