Todd M. Hanson, Treasurer

I graduated from Rockford High School in 1993.  In 1998 I received a bachelors degree from Concordia University Chicago.  In 2000 I moved to Cedar Springs.  My wife and I have one daughter.  We are regular attendees at The Springs Church.  I ran for school board because I felt compelled to and the time was right.  Education is very important to me as well as society and I am very proud of what Cedar Springs Public Schools have achieved.  I hope to help continue improving the education offered at CSPS.  Twitter, Facebook, Google, Windows7, Blackboard, MP3, Ipod, cell phones, and on and on, these words didn’t exist a few years ago and may not in a few more, that is why educating our children in the latest technology is vital to their futures.  I hope to help continue the push for the best technological education we can offer, as a community.  Respect and accountability are also two important values we need to continue to teach and expect from our children.
