IN PERSON LEARNING
The district's primary goal remains to keep all students and staff safe, taking appropriate measures within the classrooms and common areas to meet standards and orders set forth by local, state and national health authorities.
CSPS asks that all visitors and families respect and observe the announced and posted protocols when visiting CSPS schools and facilities. Our entire community works together to stay safe.

Meals
FREE MEALS THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2020
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the U.S.D.A. and M.D.E. have extended food service program flexibilities that will allow Cedar Springs Public Schools to provide FREE breakfast and lunch to ALL students through December 2020.
Students enrolled in Red Hawk Online also have the opportunity for free meals, and should have received communication from Bill Cataldo or Jeremy VerWys about pre-ordering food. Please contact Holly Haywood at 616-696-0372 or holly.haywood@csredhawks.org to be added to the RHO list.
We continue to urge all families to fill out and update their free & reduced lunch application at www.lunchapp.com. This important task will allow for continuity of services in January through the remainder of the school year. Significant Federal funding for our district is also directly tied to this information.
This opportunity is available only to students enrolled with Cedar Springs Public Schools.

In Phases 1-3 of the MI Safe Schools Roadmap, teaching and learning is required to be delivered to students at home, streamlined through Canvas, the learning management system of CSPS, with a consistent daily schedule which will include live teaching and remote proactive, feedback, grading, and attendance requirements. This virtual instruction will reflect the coursework of CSPS. Special education services will continue, adhering to the safety requirements from the State of Michigan. |
