ENROLL to Start Today! 2021-2022 School Year

We are extremely excited to welcome new students to Cedar Springs!  
We will do our best to process your enrollment as quickly as possible, but it can take up to a few weeks from the time you submit your information to finish!  Before you get started, take a look at the enrollment process.  
If you run into questions or need a computer, reach out directly to our register by email or 616-696-1204 x1919. Please note that all of the enrollment documents listed below must be verified and approved by the Registrar before students can begin school.  
  1. Submit enrollment information on the Cedar Springs Public Schools Enrollment Online Portal (30-60minutes to fill out)
  2. Wait to receive a response from the enrollment office with further instructions on how to submit enrollment documents

Documents You Need for Enrollment: 

  1. Child's original birth certificate
  2. Up-to-date immunization records
  3. Parent/Guardian Picture ID
    • Valid Driver's License or State ID
  4. Student's High School Transcript (if applicable)
  5. Hearing and Vision Screening (Kindergarten students)
  6. Proof of Residency 
    • Requirements for Proof of Residency:
      • Must have at least one of the parents' names on it
      • Must be dated recently
    • Accepted Documents:
      • Utility Bill (gas, electric, water)
      • Rent Receipt or Lease Agreement
      • Property Tax Statement
      • Home Owner's Insurance
      • Voter Registration
      • Landline Phone Bill
The following documents are not accepted: bank statements, magazine subscriptions, medical bills, auto insurance, driver's license/state ID, cell phone bill.

Kindergarten Enrollment 2022-2023 Information


Young 5 and Kindergarten Parent Information Meeting

Date: March 15, 2022
Time: 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Location: Cedar Trails Elementary School Gym - Please enter through the main entrance (under the big clock)
Join us in person at Cedar Trails Elementary School to learn about our Young 5 and Kindergarten programs available, our curriculum, what to expect, and how to enroll. This presentation will be recorded and available online after the conclusion of the event. More information on how to attend virtually will be added prior to the event here.
  • Your child must be 5 years old by September 1, 2020, to register for Kindergarten.
  • Kindergarten entrants need documentation of Hearing and Vision Screening through the Kent County Health Department (KCHD).
    • Appointment times can be scheduled by calling the KCHD at 616.632.7047
