Cedar Springs Public Schools offers a robust, vertically aligned curriculum grounded in the Michigan Department of Education Common Core State Standards. 41 states, 4 territories, the District of Columbia, and the Department of Defense have all adopted the Common Core State Standards as the framework for their curriculum.

We take pride in providing the best education for our students.  The fundamentals of Literacy, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies are important to students' time in elementary school. These core subjects are the building blocks essential for success.

Our secondary curriculum builds on the foundations in Literacy, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. All educators in our system work together to help students find their areas of passion and be prepared for whatever their future career paths or education steps.

At Cedar Springs Public Schools, we strive to cultivate learners who thrive within their communities. The Common Core national curriculum, adopted by the Council of Chief State School Officers, provides all students the pathways to achieve and exceed their goals.
