Communications

Cedar Springs Public Schools (CSPS) Communication department is located within the district office and operates as the school's source for communication distribution.

The department is responsible for district-wide emails, school newsletters, CSPS district social media, print publications, emergency crisis support, district marketing, website, branding approval, and special communication projects.

Below are the main ways we communicate with students, families, and our community.  We also allow our community to communicate with our students by sharing community information with our district.

Podcast - Rumor Has It: Setting the Record Straight

Rumor Has It: Setting the Record Straight is a short, informative podcast hosted by Cedar Springs Public School's Superintendent Scott Smith and produced by juniors John Williamson and Caleb Koeppel. New episodes will begin in March 2026 and release every other Tuesday, running 15–30 minutes.

Each episode takes on a “rumor,” explains the facts, and shows how decisions support student learning and success. You will also hear student voices, along with staff and community members, and enjoy topics that celebrate student growth, kindness, and achievement.
