Cedar Springs Public Schools district sends a monthly digital newsletter during school months to parents (who have a valid email address). Individuals schools in the district also send digital newsletters with specific information from that school. You can view current and past newsletters on our newsletter page.

BrightArrow is Cedar Springs Public School District’s phone, text, and email alert system used to notify parents/guardians and staff members about urgent matters such as school closings/delays, timely issues, and events.

BrightArrow pulls contact information from PowerSchool.  To update your information or learn more about how to opt-in to communications from BrightArrow visit our ‘Update Student Information’ page.

SNN provides stories from and about the public schools within Kent ISD. Visit the Cedar Springs Public Schools page featuring our students and school. Your entire school family can easily find our news.  This is a great way to see what is happening in other school districts.    

Do you have an event or volunteer opportunity coming up?  Are you looking to promote a little league, dance lessons, or a new community club?  Maybe you are collecting hygiene items, or clothing to support local families in need - we want to help be your voice.

When you submit information, you can select where in our school district you would like it distributed*, or have us share it with the community on our social media.

All submissions must be approved by the district prior to being distributed.

*After approval, printed flyers are the responsibility of the requestor and are dropped off at the district office to be distributed. We will begin accepting flyer requests for the 22-23 school year from September 6, 2022 thru May 5, 2023.

Cedar Springs Public Schools (CSPS) recognizes the importance of ensuring our websites are accessible to those with disabilities. We are committed to making our information accessible to visitors with disabilities and are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and in doing so adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines.

This website endeavors to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0.

These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible and the District is working to educate our staff so that the content they may post on their classroom websites will be compliant with the guidelines and be accessible to all visitors.

This site has been built using code compliant with W3C standards for HTML and CSS. The site displays correctly in current browsers and using standards compliant HTML/CSS code means any future browsers will also display it correctly.

CSPS strives to adhere to the accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility and usability as comprehensively as possible on this website. We are currently using http://mondiso.com and exploring compliance service opportunities that will scan our website and identify non-compliant elements or documents that need to be addressed.

PORTABLE DOCUMENT FORMAT

Some documents on the CSPS website are produced in portable document format (PDF). In order to improve viewing these files, please download the latest version of Adobe Reader, which is available for free at the Adobe web site. Alternative accessible formats also are provided, where possible, most commonly through a text or an HTML file.
