Special Education

At Cedar Springs Public Schools (CSPS), we provide a range of special education programs and services to support our students. These include early childhood services, resource programs, and specialized classrooms. Our dedicated staff ensures personalized instruction and support for students with disabilities. We also work closely with other public school districts in Kent County and the Kent Intermediate School District to offer diverse educational options.

Child Find

Child Find is an obligation for public schools that ensures that all students who need additional support through an IEP or a Section 504 plan be identified, located, and evaluated. Child Find offers evaluations, at no charge, to children suspected of having a disability.  Early intervention is very important to your child's development.  If you are concerned about your child's development, please call our office at 616-696-0580.
