Fine Arts
Cedar Springs Public Schools believes Fine Arts are a life-long pursuit of emotional education and expression, encompassing our cultural heritage. Fine Arts allows individuals to communicate ideas, portray images, and explore their humanity in creative ways.
A Fine Arts education can facilitate language acquisition, reading readiness, and general development. It fosters positive attitudes and cooperative learning, enhances creativity and problem solving, and promotes social development and self-worth. We believe the Fine Arts are an essential medium that promotes academic excellence in all students.
We offer a wide variety of fine arts that start within elementary in art, and music courses.
As our students develop, they are given opportunities to participate in Band, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, and Vocal Performance.
